About Maria:

Maria has a passion for creating art with children. She holds a masters degree in expressive arts therapy from Lesley University. Her background includes leading bereavement and social skills art therapy groups, as well as teaching preschool and counseling both children and adults. Maria has a one year old son and enjoys spending time with her family and dog.

Art Therapy allows the sharing of feeling and emotions through the process of creating art.

Art therapy groups will consist of exploring a variety of different art materials such as chalk, paint, collage, recycled materials, and fabric. The class will offer an outlet for safe expression through building and creating.
